Coloring outside the lines, on purpose
CORTIS — short for Color Outside the Lines — debuted under BIGHIT MUSIC on August 18, 2025. Five members: Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Keonho. The name is the whole mission statement. It means thinking freely and refusing to stay inside the boundaries the world hands you.
What makes them click for me is that they’re a self-producing creator crew, and they actually mean it. They write, they produce, they choreograph, they sit in on the visual direction. They’re not waiting for a song to be handed to them. That’s rare, and it’s the reason this whole site exists — their taste is worth paying attention to.
Their fandom is called COER — “COR” from CORTIS and “~ER” for the people who stand with them. Core. That’s us.
