Songs Recommended by Seonghyeon From CORTIS
Seonghyeon ran through forty songs on his Weverse live on 30 September 2026.
Seonghyeon sat down on Weverse on 30 September and played 40 songs straight through, and the list is far stranger than anyone expected: Travis Scott and Yeat next to Korean ballads from 1985, four Effie songs in a row, and three Steve Lacy tracks.
The short answer
Forty songs. Ten of them Korean, six of those older than he is. The most played artist of the night was Effie with four songs, then Steve Lacy with three. Travis Scott appears twice, once under his own name and once featuring on a Nemzzz track.
Listen to the whole thing
Every song below links straight to it on Spotify. There is no official playlist for this live yet, so the links search Spotify for each track rather than embedding a specific version, which keeps you from landing on a karaoke or instrumental edit by accident.
Every song from the live
Grouped by what they are rather than by the order he played them, because the order jumped around all night. Forty songs, nothing left out.
The Korean songs, from 1985 to now
Ten of the forty, and the most surprising part of the whole live. Six of them are Korean ballads and city pop from the eighties and nineties, older than he is by a long way, and the other four are second generation K-pop. This is not the section anyone expected from him.
Four songs by Effie
No other artist on the list gets more than three. Effie gets four, back to back, which on a live usually means somebody has had the album on repeat all week.
Rap and R&B
The biggest single block of the night, and it runs from arena rap to names with four figure play counts.
Alternative, indie and bedroom pop
Three Steve Lacy songs, two Dominic Fike and two Junior Mesa. When he likes somebody he plays them more than once, and this is where that shows most.
| Song | Artist | Listen |
|---|---|---|
| doom | Steve Lacy | Play |
| oh yeah? | Steve Lacy | Play |
| show you me | Steve Lacy | Play |

The ones that do not group with anything
Five songs with nothing in common except that he played all of them in the same hour: a 1997 big beat record, a Sade song, a jazz saxophonist, a Justin Bieber track and a Mexican trio.
What the list says about him
He is the only one going back to the eighties
Six of the Korean songs are from before 2000: 들국화 in 1985, 강수지 in 1990, and ballads from 황치훈, 김광진, 김현철 and 김동률. Nobody else in CORTIS has been caught playing music that old. Put next to 4 Walls and the two S.E.S songs, it reads like somebody who has gone properly down the rabbit hole of Korean pop history rather than someone shuffling a playlist.
When he likes an artist he plays the whole thing
Four Effie songs. Three Steve Lacy. Two Dominic Fike, two Junior Mesa, two Yeat, two S.E.S. Half the list is repeat artists, which is the opposite of how most people run a live.
Dominic Fike keeps turning up in CORTIS
Seonghyeon played two. Martin has Great Pretender on his own playlist. He is quietly the most agreed-on artist in the group, and you can see the rest of Martin’s 51 songs for the overlap.

Where this list comes from
The songs were noted down by COERs watching Seonghyeon’s Weverse live on 30 September 2026 and shared afterwards. It is a fan transcription, not an official tracklist, so a title or two may be off and he may have played something nobody caught.
Where a song has several versions on Spotify, the link searches rather than pointing at one recording, so you get the real one instead of a karaoke edit.
